Washington, DC has been one of the USA's gayest destinations for the last decade or so. More than 25 full-time gay bars party until 2am on weekdays and 3am on weekends -- several have after-hours partying as well. Throw in there lots of drag shows, karaoke, cabaret, and game shows, and it's difficult to expect much more. Well, maybe less of the so-called "DC attitude" -- it's not easy to find a man who's the "marrying kind."

On the other hand, recreational drugs are not hard to find, but the "party favor" scene is not quite the way of life it is in places like NYC. Getting around town is a snap! If you can't walk to it, then hop on a nearby Metro train, or easily hail a cab at any corner. Parking is difficult, though, in the most popular areas.
