Washington is surrounded by three major airports, Amtrak
and a world-class subway system, METRO
. Baltimore-Washington
International (BWI) airport is about 30 miles from
the Center. Dulles
about 27.
And Reagan
National is under 10. For a map of downtown, click
here . If you're coming from BWI or Dulles, a cab
ride will be over $70 to downtown DC. Reagan, no more
than $15.
Most airports offer public transportation, (At Dulles
and BWI you can take a bus to the Metro; at Reagan, the
Metro is connected to the terminal.) To be sure, contact
your airport before flying in. |
